Default 305 mesh for large font??

Ok so im really excited to say that I have my first customer and am trying to figure the best way to make this screen. He wants a halftone image under large font that says the title of his company. I was wondering if I could just do the font on the 305 mesh or would it not work out?

I don't think you will be happy. 305 mesh will not deposit much ink. You don't mention ink or shirt colors.

One of my first jobs for myself was a black print on white shirts of Fred Astaire in a tuxedo, on stage, in a spotlight. 180 mesh blurred the halftones and 305 mesh didn't deposit enough ink for the lapels to look 'black'.

I blocked out the fine halftone 'face' area and use both screens to print the job. After that I knew I had to make, and charge for multiple screens sometimes for 'one' color jobs.

I have used a big brush, small brush story to explain this to customers.

I've tried this mesh and I wasn't very satisfied. Not enough ink is deposed. 305 is very good for very fine details!
