I was wondering what type of transfer paper is good for photo emulsion. And I have a hp all in one printer does it matter what type of black ink I use ?

Default Re: Transfer Paper ?

You don't use transfer paper for photo emulsion. If you mean what kind of material to print your images on to make stencils on screens coated with photoemulsion, you want inkjet film to print through your inkjet printer. Laser printers use laser film or vellum, which is a kind of translucent paper. If you're talking about inkjet transfer paper to print full-color prints onto light colored tee shirts with a heat press, that's a different thing altogether and doesn't involve emulsion, or screenprinting. Do a search for inkjet film on this forum. It's been discussed, or go to screenprinters.net, click on the forums menu and do a search. I know it's been hashed out over there.
