Default storing exposed screen

Well Ive dipped my toes into the screen printing waters and after one screen washed out (note do not use the karcher) I managed to expose 3 small screens using a 600 watt halogen and test printed them onto shirts with great success! I had no issues with getting fine lines or anything (My biggger screen again washed out completely even without using the karcher so Im thinking I will have to expose longer)

now for a dumb question but still best to be safe- as the good screens have been exposed and printed from, do I have to store them in darkness to prevent further exposure creating hassles with reclaiming the screen later or has the exposure process been cpmpleted?

I'm new to screen printing too...but from what I understand once your screen has been used for printing...it's already been exposed to natural light. It should no longer have to be stored in a safe light environment

Thumbs up Re: storing exposed screen

After its been exposed and washed out and all that good stuff.. you could store it in the direct sunlight if you needed to! The emulsion has already been cured.. (and the uncured emulsions been washed away already).. So you're good to go!
