Whos going to the ISS show in chicago? Im located in chicago and was curious to know who from this forum will be attending.....?

I didn't know they were having one in chicago? When is it I thought the closest one to me was the Atlantic City one.

Well technically its in a suburb of Chicago, it'll be in Shaumburg, Il.

Thursday, August 7: 10:00am - 5:00 pm
Friday, August 8: 10:00am - 5:00 pm
Saturday, August 9: 10:00am - 3:00 pm

If everything goes well for me in Atlantic City then I may show up.. Lived there in 1955.. A St Louis guy.. now in California.

It will also be my first time. Im not sure exactly what to do overthere but ihope to make some good connections and network my but off.....

as for Lou I guess you're alot smarter than the rest of us from the midwest for moving to warmer climate because this snow is really starting to get me pissed...lol everytime the streets clear here goes another snow fall. Who knows maybe one day Ill move out west im thinkin somewhere like Arizona.

lol....Lou whats the temperature like where you're at? I know its warm but how warm on average?

is it recommended to go all 3 days? i would like to go but doing all 3 days might be kinda hard since i have 3 kids that will be home being watched....just wondering also does anybody know is there a fee to go? i am only 2 hours away so i am planning on attending this year....

45-65 Nice today. We have had a cold spell... it was getting down to low 30's. I do not miss the midwest weather. Wife is from Boston.. don't even use the words snow...

Go to issshows and click on the show you want to attend. It is free if you register in advance. also I know the show in Long beach had over 500 vendors but I hear the other shows are smaller. I think you could see it all in 2 days. What you need to do is plan in advance the type of thiongs that are important to you and then go to those booths. Then see the others last.

Tried registering but it says:

Registation Temporarily Closed
Registration for 2007 ISS Schaumburg is temporarily closed. Please try again later.

Hopefully they'll fix that and we'll be able to register ahead of time....
