Default Emulsion + Halftones= Which Brand?

What brand you guys using when it comes to halftone printing? I've been recommended to tryout Murakami's Photocure PRO, but the only downfall for us with Dual Cure emulsions is thier shelf life. 4-6 weeks for someone barely starting out isn't along time at all. So I'm looking to see on a pre-sensitized emulsion thats great for halftones. Any recommendations or insight would be appreciated. Thanks inadvance.

Right now we are actually using the QTX and we seem to be getting good results. Yet, since we're new to screen printing, my expierence with emulsions isn't much. But QTX is good, I was just wondering what else is out there, an what everyone else is using with a great outcome from halftoning. Thanks.

I use Ulano QTX and Murakami Chroma/Tech PL for plastisol and Ulano TZ for waterbase without any problems. Usually 55lpi stuff and 280 or 305 mesh.

QTX is good, but a little pricey. I've been using SaatiPrint Textil PV. It's as good as QTX, but costs about 2/3 as much.

Try Ulano QX-1. It is a dual-cure so you get much better halftones than QTX and has much better water and solvent resistance. It is pre-sensitized at the factory and has an 18 month shelf life BUT will take about twice as long to expose compared to QTX.

About US$60/gallon
