Default Exposure unit - Need help!!!!

Hi guys,

I have a problem. My exposure unit had the wrong lights fitted and what I need to know is what type of UV light is needed to expose screens. I have black light but its filtered (i think, well doesnt matter cos it doesnt work anyway), and my local light suppliers arent best qualified in knowing exactly want I need. So, exactly what type of light do I need?

Further compounding the problem, I need the light a certain length, so if this fails I suppose I am going to have to buy one. Where is recommended to purchase and cost; I am based in the UK?

I saw this on ebay

Screen Printing Exposure unit on eBay, also, Screen Speciality Printing, Printing Graphic Arts, Business, Office Industrial (end time 22-Jan-08 21:47:30 GMT)

Is this recommended? I would prefer something similar to one I already have, namely a slightly smaller than A2 size. Like this http://www.ryonet.net/downloads/expose-unit.jpg

Cheers all
Stag

We can't help if you don't tell us the make and model of exposure unit you need lamps for.

try talking to the guy who custom made it for u. if u cant for some reason, i suggest getting 500 watt halogens. no filters, no colors. then obviously do an exposure test, but prob. around 9 minutes will do the trick
