Default Hopkins or Workhorse

Need opinion from experienced Hopkins (not Riley) and Workhorse (not Odyssy) 6/6 and 8/8 presses. Is one better quality, performing and or balanced than the other. I have a chance to pick up an older used one for 3,000, Hopkins has sideclamps both have micros. Your opinion please...pitfalls? Thanks

Definitely Workhorse! We have two workhorses and they are the best and sturdiest presses. We have one hopkins and it the least used of all the presses.

The workhorse 6/6 is what I use and they are great. I find the micro-registration very easy to use.

I have a Hopkins 6/6 and the micro registration will do up/down (off contact) - front/back - and left/right for leveling screen. The left/right is not micro registration.

The workhorse does not do left/right adjustment correct?

by left/right, I am not refering to hortizonal adjustment, I mean raising the left side to make level with right side
