You can pick up a used Epson 3000 for cheap. They aren't the fastest, but the cost of running them is dirt cheap. Cheap bulk ink, cheap films, perfect harmony.

We have dozens of threads that discuss this over and over.

Search for "ink jet positive".

The 13" Epson 1400 is very new, but it is the first dye ink printer from EPSON since 2000.

The most popular 13" ink jet printer is the EPSON R1800. A refurbished model can be had direct from the EPSON Clearance Center with free shipping and a the same full 1 year warranty new machines have for only $349. Part No. C11C589011-N

I have the epson r1800 with fastink, fastrip and waterproof film from usscreen.com. Works perfect with fast printing and instant drying positive.
