What is the standard rate a screen printing company charges a customer with artwork?

What's the standard rate for a mechanic? Lawyer? Dentist?

Like any other group of professionals, rates vary between printers/designers (and sometimes jobs or clients).

I understand that I just wanted to get a feel for what everyone else is doing. I know its an hourly rated due to the the amount of difficulty. I don't want undersell myself but then again I don't want to make it too high. I want a happy medium.

I'm currently charging 35 dollars an hour. I give an estimate beforehand. And never charge more then 2hrs above estimate.

This is alot cheaper then the other design studios around the area. They charge around 65 an hr.

But I work out of my home and have no real overhead. So for now I can do for half and still have a nice profit.

Really it depends on what overhead your carring and what others in your area charge.
