Default Printing and Printers

All right, a few questions, when buying equipment for silk screening ... what kind of printing equipment and matierals do i want to buy ... things such as

Printers
Transparencies
Ink

and any thing else i am going to need when making emulsion Transparencies

... i am trying to set up how much money i will be needing and i very sure that a printer is going to be an important part of the project

A postscript laser is the easiest. If you go inkjet, you'll also need to buy a RIP to get halftones, and that's not cheap. There are ways to print halftones without a RIP, but the PS laser is still the easiest route. Costwise and large format laser and a large format inkjet + RIP are about the same.

My Oki C8800 is postscript. There are many others. Just make sure it is postscript 3 compatible. Probably looking at somewhere between $1500 and $2000 for a large format laser.
