Default help with graphics on corel

hey everyone,

im having a problem with a design i made on corel it looks great but when i tried to miniize the design so that it can be printed on business cards it loses alot of quality...why is this happening?

Please help......

did you try saving it as a .gif rather than a .jpeg or .bit file? I've found when reducing the .gif file give better quality.

if you create totally in Corel, it is a vector file and resizing should not be an issue, but if you export your design you are probably exported as a raster image. with raster images, resizing can create problems as the pixels enlarge or reduce. I would do the design in Corel in the exact size you want then export

I did create it totally 100% in corel thats why im confused there should be no reason for this to be happening.

I sort of give up on this one if you did not export or save in some other format, this should not happen. A forum member, Foster Coburn is a Corel expert, maybe he will have an answer.

By the way his website, CorelDRAW Unleashed - CorelDRAW and Corel PHOTO-PAINT - Books, Boot Camps, Conferences and Magazines is a great resource. His DVD is a great value...Check it out

Or, you designed with outlines and didn't select 'Scale with Image' in the outline docker. So your outlines are staying the same size.

You were right i was outlining it without "scale with image"
