Default Alignment problem

Hello everyone.

I am hoping someone can help me with a problem I am having. I am screen printing some shirts for a school. The graphic is bold white letters and in the middle if the white letters is royal blue. So the white is outlining the royal blue writing. (does that make sense?) ..lol. Well, I print on the practice pelon and it comes out perfect. After the first 2 or 3 shirts, the graphic shifts as I am printing and starts to unaligned. I have everything tightened on the press, my shirt boards are not warped. Could my screens be warped? If the screens are warped, I would think the practice pelon wouldn't come out right. I am so ready to set my printing press on fire and dance around it...lol.

I would appreciate any suggestions.

Thanks,
Sandy

What kind of a press are you using?

1. Do you apply enough adhesive to your Pallete?
2. If yes, then you are trying to print a buttregistration separation on a manual press that it's not able to hold tight registration, so to address the problem you need to redo your white underbase with a choke-back, so you won't see any edges or outlines of the white picking out from the blue color in this case. How much of a choke? well this depend on your press capabilities, you may try a 2 or 3 points.
Good Luck

I spoke with my screen printing supplier, he told me to check my press to maqke sure nothing was loose. I went back and and did some investigating and found the screen moves slightly so each time that I brought the screen down and did a pass over the shirt it was moving a bit.

Neato, i am using a Odessy by Workhorse.

Thanks for responding guys.

Sandy
