sneeky

how often do people change their mesh?
i have about 10 wooden screens, and to be fair haven't printed much for a couple of months, but used them a few times a week for the 6 months previous to that.
the current stuff looks okay, but how would i know any different?
is there a general rule of thumb?

Just depends on the mesh. If the tension is real bad ( the mesh is loose, Lots of play) its time for new screens. you can probably get away with simple one colors or multi color designs where the colors dont touch. I have screens that are over a year old. I would suggest looking into aluminum frames. Wooden frams will warp over time from the water during reclaiming. I honestly would not have a wooden fram restretched for that reason.
