Default shiney ink

the ink i use is shiney, especially black, is this the brand or something else?

What Brand are you using?
I think you may be putting down too heavy a deposit.
If you can either thin the ink using a curable thinner and use a finer mesh count this should give you a more matt finnish.
Or just add a little suede additive.
This will give you a very matt finish.

I cannot remember which way is which as I dont print anymore, just art. You can achieve diferent looks to your ink, Shinny or Matt Finish by the amount of time the ink is exposed to heat in your dryer.
