Default can you foil an already flash cured print?

Hey All,

New to the forum and have found some great advice. I am not new to the screening business, but have not printed in quite sometime.

My question is we just did a s**tload of tees using plastisol and flash cured them. They came out great. But can you still foil the print after it has been flash cured? We did white on black tees and wanted to put a sliver foil over the top.

I just wanted to know so that we can possibly get a heat transfer press and do the foiling. Or do we have to do it while it is still hot and tacky, or can we reflash it before we foil. A little confusing but hopefully can get an answer here.

Thanks for your help!

Yes, you can put the foil over the plastisol area, only problem is when you wash it after a while that white area is going to show. So so yourself a favor and get some plastisol adhesive instead then put the foil on top of that. Plastisol adhesive is clear when it cures
