Question Question regarding ink curing. (n00b alert)

Quick question here: It's my understanding that plastisol ink sets at ~220 degrees fahrenheit, and cures at ~320. Assuming you are flashing to set the ink between colors, could you use a press to cure the ink? As opposed to heat gun, oven, conveyor, etc. methods?

Bonus points for explaining why it is a good/bad/simply retarded idea.

Thanks

as long as it doesn't smudge when you move it from the press to the heat press, i'm sure it would be fine, just use a teflon sheet over the shirt
