Default Printing on 50/50 poly cotton blends with reg plastisol

Would it be alright to print on light colored 50/50 blend shirts with regular dark plastisol inks?

I've read on the board about printing on dark 50/50 shirts with light ink - the shirt color bleeds into the ink a little.

What about light shirt with dark ink?

Would I have to get that special plastisol ink for 50/50 blends or can I use the regular plastisol that I currently have.

Ken

You should be fine. Main issue is the dye migrating (sublimation) into the lighter inks, such as white.

Glad to help. We print with our regular inks all the time with no issues other than white printers. Usually use a poly white for any poly blends to be safe.
Other inks normal print as usual
