Metallic Paint or Heat transfer foil?
Hi All,
I was hoping you could tell me if the copper color on this shirt is metallic fabric paint, ink or some type of foil transfer?
Also, if it's a paint does anyone know where to get these specialty type of colors? I read in another post about glitter, someone suggested a low mesh count, is that correct?
Thanks!

Re: Metallic Paint or Heat transfer foil? My money is on foil. As far as I know metallic ink isn't that reflective.
And yes, low mesh count for glitter - otherwise it won't pass through.

Re: Metallic Paint or Heat transfer foil? Yes, there are also metallic vinyl materials for heat transfer applications. You cut in mirror image using a cutter like the GX-24, weed, press face down, then remove backing. There are even glitter materials available. I have tried some and they really look good, pricey though.

Re: Metallic Paint or Heat transfer foil? That is a foil on there. My bet without touching that shirt is that it is water based ink with a plastisol ink onto which the foil was placed.
This is a discussion about Metallic Paint or Heat transfer foil? that was posted in the Screen Printing section of the forums.
