Default Silk screen multi-color t-shirts

I have been trying to find a good tutorial for this. Can anyone explain to me techniques used to silk screen a 2 or 3 color design onto shirts? I've found this tutorial: How to prepare artwork for a multi-color shirt! but it doesn't say how the registration marks are used and I can't figure it out.

I want to print shirts that have 2 or 3 colors in fairly precise positions without having to spend a ton of time lining them up for each shirt.

Do you have a multi-head press? If not, you will be spending a lot of time lining them up for each shirt, which is what you said you don't want to do. In order to do multi-color shirts, you need a multi-head press, unless you just plan on doing 2 or 3 shirts.
