Default Problem W/ Printing Womens Rib Shirts

I Started A Job Printing A Womens Rib T (hanes Sl20 Raglan Cap Sleeve T To Be Exact) The Problem Am Having Is When You Get A Little Bit Of Stretch On Them You Can See The Unpainted Ribbed Parts Of The Shirt, That The Ink Just Doesnt Reach/soak Into. Im Using A Union Ink Autoline. My Question Is If There Is Any Solution For This. I Was Thinking Of Using A High Opacity Ink With A Think Stencil To Have It Sit On Top And Stretch With The Shirt, At Least Thats What Im Hoping Will Happen. My Screen Is A 195...... Will The High Opacity Ink Pass Through It Ok. Thanks For Any Help In Advance

You might need an all purpose ink rather than the high opacity. Will pass through the mesh easier. For ribbed garments you need some serious pressure to get the ink into ribbs

Should I Try Stretching The Shirt At All, To Open The Ribs Somewhat. Its A Three Color Job, Im Thinking I Might Loose Registration.

don't stretch the shirt, you'll end up with a slightly warped image. 1st coat is FIRM handed, second coat a little thicker/softer pressure, we actually soft hand our inks heavily for this so that the ink "drips down in easier with our pressure. Practice, you'll get it, it just takes a few tries
