Question Emulision want come off screen

I have a screen that the emulision want come off.

Here are the step I have taken to clean the screen

1. Wet screen on both sides
2. Sprayed both sides with emulision remover
3. Scrubbed both sides
4. Set screen aside, and work on screen #2
5. After doing steps 1-4 on #2 screen, rinsed screen #1, one little spot came clean
6. Repeated Steps 1-4 on #1 screen
7. Washed out #2 screen, came back to #1, rinsed, nothing happened
8. Repeated steps 1 -4 on #1 screen, waited a few more minutes for remover to work on screen, rinsed it out and still nothing

Where should I go from here. I have never had this happened before. I am using the same products that I have always used.

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Default Re: Emulision want come off screen

You mentioned that you rinsed the screen. This should be a pressure washer, but it sounds like the emulsion may be locked on the screen. This can happen for a number of reasons:

1.) The screen was underexposed. This leaves the emulsion susceptible to having any solvents that you may use lock the emulsion in.
2.) Emulsion remover was allowed to dry on the screen.

Once emulsion is locked in, yu may as well just restretch the screen.

Thanks for the info. I did use a pressure washer when I rinse the screen. I was afraid that there was nothing I could do about the screen.
