Hi people! I am new to sreen printing.I started small and locally too.I am using the local set up of a mesh hindged to the edge of an ordinary table top to screen print. Is any of you currently using this local set up/used it in the past/not using it but knows about it? please let me know.I would like to rub mind with you.
***How do I go about printing two or more colour artwork with my local set up?
***If I am to print on say 20 T-shirts with this local set up,would I arrange all T-shirts in a pile on the printing area of the table such that as I print on the one at the top i would remove it and print on the next below it untill I am through with all 20 T-shirts? or I would need to be placing one T-shirt on the printing area of the table at a time and printing on it?
***I only heard and read about this local set up I am using and I decided to try it out.I have not had the opportunity of learning by watching someone use it to print. Is there a better way I can go about printing locally,a better way to organize my printing table/set up to get better results?
***The T-shirts sometimes shifts while running the squeegee across the screen or after running the squeegee, while trying to lift the screen off the T-shirt. How do I deal with this?
***I want to know about off contact printing or some thing like that. I have heard about it. How does it work?
***Lastly, I need websites(many) that contains the A-Z of screen printing.

Hi George, for better results, you may want to post each question as a separate thread/topic.
BEFORE you do that though, you should use the search box at the top of the forum and search answers that have already been posted in past threads.
Lots of great tips, experiences, websites, videos have already been posted and can be found by using the search.
Rodney is right, but here's the answers to some of those questions...

Ideally you don't. If you do, you'll need to manually line up every colour on every shirt. Don't expect good registration.

No. In fact I don't know why you would even think to try it that way. It'll give you a totally uneven print surface, and with a stack of twenty shirts underneath it your hinge clamp won't lay flat.

Since we don't know exactly how you have your print area setup, we have no way of knowing. Try watching some tutorials on YouTube and seeing if you can get ideas for improving your setup from there.

Spray tack or palette adhesive.

It works by having the screen off-contact from the substrate, it's brought in contact with the pressure of the squeegee. It will probably make more sense once you've done some more printing.

YouTube, and Fresener's book How To Print T-shirts For Fun and Profit pretty much fit that bill.
