Default ink washing out

ive recently printed some shirts for a local band and after a few washes the ink looked like it had almost washed all the way out, it was a black ink printed onto a colored shirt. im using atlas plastisol ink. any suggestions or explanations as to why this happened and what i can do to keep it from happening again?

Most inks need to reach 320 degrees to cure. Call Atlas and ask the what the curing temp for that ink. You also need to get a temp gun so you know they are reaching the right temp. What are you using to cure your shirts?

Agree with SLGProduction

Sounds like they were not cured totally. 320 is the magic number and must reach this for a couple of seconds

i use a conveyor dryer or a flash dryer, should i set the heat on the dryer higher or set it so the shirts go thru it at a slower pace?

probably both. Also remember the more shirts on the belt the more heat is being consumed thus lowering the temp.
