Default Ink Brand stories

This is in reference to plastisol. There are a lot of brands out there.... Wilflex, Union, Triangle, IC.... and so how do you decide? I am using International Coatings right now with satisfactory results (for me ) - I think I'm trying to determine the merit of looking beyond what I have in front of me right now.

* What brands have you used?
* If you don't still use them, why?
* Do you use multiple brands - maybe certain inks are better for certain applications?

Thanks.

We use both Wilflex and Rutland and love them.

Rutland MC mixing system (plasticol based)
Wilflex PC mixing system (pigment based)
Wilflex and Rutland specialty inks. HD Clear, etc.
Wilflex Plascharge and Super white Discharge

Wilflex Buffalo for all purpose white and tiger white for highlight whites
Wilflex Athletic Gold and a couple PSM match colors

Rutland pc mixing for regular pms matching and the Wilflex pigments for our specialty inks

Fluid: Have you used other brands before? how/why did you finally settle on Rutland and Wilflex?

I started with Rutland about 11+ years ago, when I set up my shop I used Rutland than my supplier switched to Wilflex. I tried to switch at first and trying to match colors was a pita yet in the process I found some inks I liked better in the Wilflex and some better in Rutland thus the reason I use both.

I have used Union in the past and can say they are a good brand yet haven't used them enough to offer much about them

We use Wilflex and Union because we use their mixing system. We only use International Coatings on emergencies.
