I dont have a screen printing press, just the screen, is it possible to get an off contact print?

Well, you could put something under the corners of the screen to raise it off the surface you are printing on. Though that would likely make it a lot harder to keep the screen from moving when printing. But unless you have a clamp to hold the screen in, it's going to be pretty hard to create off-contact.
