I was not sure where exactly to put this so I picked here. I was curious. As a screen printer running a company. Do yall have any software or something that when a customer comes in and says I need a shirt can you design it for me that you go to. Or is everything custom from scratch that your designer does.
There are some teplate companies out there but nothing much strictly for our industry. CorelDRAW has an after market add on - SmartDesigner or SmartDesigns (cant remember the name) - which uses templates strictly for our industry with Business, event and school templates.
There are also tons of clipart sites, books and packages that you can import graphics and add text in a graphics program such as CorelDRAW and Illustrator.
A forums search for CorelDRAW and Illustrator will get you tons of info on these two apps.
There is no software specificly for designing for screen printing. I use Illustrator but lots use Corel or Photoshop.
Sorry Guys This is not what I was referring to. I am an expert on Illustrator, Photoshop, and almost all graphics programs.
My question was do you have or use templates. (probably clip art) Where that all yall do is take that design and change the text to fit. Kind of like if you went to a print shop and you wanted a business card they would pull out a book of templates you can choose from.
