Default Do you warm your exposure units?

I'm going to make a table top exposure unit for myself and am wondering if people warm their tables before using them to burn screens?

I know that flor tubes are not instant on/off lights and usually require some time to reach full warm up. Is this an issue with burning screens? I would imagine it would be but I've never run across the issue in discussion.....

yeah just a newbie question thanks.

yes it is a slight issue, one reason fluorescents units are on the low end. If you use enough bulbs it shouldnt be that big of a deal until you start burning halftone intense images. I believe most commercial flour units dont start the timer until the bulbs are fully lit. Cant say for sure, just going from memory (about 10+ years ago)
