Default Residue in Shirts

Hey guys, so on a lot of my shirts I'm getting what looks like a white residue in the fabric. I screen print the shirts my self and my assumption is that its the glue that I spray onto the pallet before laying the shirt on it to be printed. I could be wrong though. Has anyone else encountered this problem? And what can I do to fix this and/or prevent this?

Thanks for the help,
Tim

it is in the fabric itself, and appears where the edges of the work station is. im wondering if it is related to the pressure i apply and the off contact perhaps. Though it has to involve something that is changing the color of the fabric and my only guess is the glue. But I also assume that it can be cleaned by simply washing it. But can I smell a product that smells like Tide?

Hellooo has no one ever experienced this problem with screen printing? On dark colored shirts after printing them and heat setting them, when you take the shirt off, you can almost see the outline of the work station, its is like a lighter color around the edges of where the work station was.

see the white around the design?

yes - too much down pressure

once you wash it, it will go away

or buy a steamer, and it will remove it... or goto walmart, they have some spray ( i forget the name lol ) but it will remove the lines

spritz with water and run through the dryer might remove it as well. Definently too much pressure when printing which can cause your white underbase to not be smooth as well
