Default How is this achieved?

Hi
I love vintage looking shirts and I have been browsing on the net and found some nice looking shirts. I dont think they have been printed with plastisol inks (by the looks of them). Is that water based inks? How do you achieve that almost transpaent look?
Thanx

I believe they do use waterbased ink for these and it is distressed which can be achieved in your design

there is no way to look at a picture of a shirt and tell if it is plasticol inks or not. I have printed for 2 companies from this site with Plasticol inks and get the same soft to no hand print.

Yeah, my guess is that it is reduced or chino plastisol.

Hard (or impossible even) to tell from a picture, but if anything they look more like plastisol than waterbased.
