Default Finishing

Hi Again all.

Ive recently printed a succession of really successful prints. Yaaayy!!! And ive noticed when i cure them that the plastisol seems to go i little bit bumpy and bobbly. Dont know it this is when I cure them or if its just like that when ive printed it.

Does anyone know how to get a smooth almost rubbery feel to the print.

Im printing flashing (with Heat Gun) and then printing again, then placing in the oven. Using a 70T yellow screen.

Thanks in advance
James

Normally you do not want a "rubbery" feel to your shirts unless you are using it as protection :-) The bumply and blobby look is also probably an indication that you are getting the ink too hot. It shouldn't be puffing up when curing. It's probably also related to laying down too much ink. You want to use the least amount of ink possible while still getting a good looking print.

Laying down too much ink and over curing.

OK Cheers Guys

How do I stop from laying too much in down? Am I pressing on too hard or do I need to add some more extended to my ink?

Using a higher mesh count will allow less ink to go through.
