4. what is under base paint? when will i use that or do i need to use that, and what is the benefit.
thank again
Pacman,
Floodstroke is where you cover your screen with ink lightly ensuring the ink will not go thruogh the screen yet. This is done before you do the print stroke.
Printstroke is where you want the ink to print on your shirt. Squeez the ink to go through the screen to print on the shirt.
If you're printing just one color and one shirt, then you can just lay the shirt on the table, put the screen over the shirt and print. But the proper way is to have your screen not to touch the shirt (about 1/16 or 1/8" offset especially when your printing multi-color or printing many shirts.
Underbase is used when your printing dark colored shirt. You have to print the white first then print the color over it. This is ussually when your using plastisol, transparent ink. You dont have to use underbase if you are using waterbase opaque ink which is commonly used among filipino printers for dark colored shirts.

Hi Sano,
Thanks for the info, why doing this 1/16 or 1/8" offset? what is the reason behind this, when printing many shirts and multicolor?

Yes, There are lots of waterbased opaque textile paint. Tulco has opaque paint (white and other variety of colors) ideal for printing dark colored shirts. They also have embossed ink,( after printing, let it dry and then heat or iron it and the ink will puff).

Sorry Pacman, haven't heard of a store which sells generic blanks of that kind. an option would be to find a shop which can customize those shirts for you. Where are you located? There are lots of shops in Manila customizing basketball uniforms and other sportswear. You could ask them to customize your muscle shirts.

OT:sino may exposure service dito sa Cebu?
If the sun is too hot, try to expose for 5 seconds or even less (3 sec.) Just a reminder, if you're burning your screen under the sun, your positive should be on top the glass not under the glass (the way you exposed using exposure devise).

correction: your positive is placed over your screen pala.
