Re: correct mesh for a 1 color I'd use 180 mesh and p/f/p. Try to keep just enough ink flowing to cover the shirt.

Re: correct mesh for a 1 color i'd try a 125 first. If the fine lines don't come out, then try a 156.

Re: correct mesh for a 1 color Mesh tension will change the behavior of the print.
I could print that design with a 305 mesh at 45 newtons or 220 mesh at 60 newtons to show off.
Whatever the mesh, if you raise the tension it will print better. If you use a higher mesh count your deposit will be softer and print easier.
I know, I know - this is not the answer you want.

Re: correct mesh for a 1 color Try printing through multiple mesh counts and see which works best for you. Different inks flow a little different and the environment you print in will have a big effect, also.
Let us know what you did.

Re: correct mesh for a 1 color I generally print white on black through a 156 mesh p/f/p, but I think I could go up to 195 and still get good coverage, and softer print.
This is a discussion about correct mesh for a 1 color that was posted in the Screen Printing section of the forums.
