Exclamation a friendly reminder: DON'T LEAVE YOUR FLASH UNATTENDED!

hey guys and gals, just want to spread a little safety tip. this afternoon i was in the house eating lunch while my 5 year old was outside playing, apparently he bumped my press into it's clutch with the flash on. after a while i smelled hot pallette and ran out, it was smoking and pretty brown. luckily the melemine-y stuff on top stayed smooth enough to print on still. i've had shirts and pallettes catch on fire before and it's kinda scary. i'm definately going to be more careful now, since i'm home based and i don't have any kind of business insurance (i need to), so had anything bad happened, it probably would have been out of pocket!

be careful!
mac

I don't think you can insure a five year old, which is what I'd be more concerned about.

I think we have all done it. 3 out of 4 of my platens have schorched corners or edges. Those darn customers always come in at the worst times.
