Default Screen printing equipment

I am looking to add screen printing to my embroidery business in house. Does anyone have any suggestions of where and what type of new equipment to get. I am looking for something for a beginner to do 1 and 2 color set ups, orders from 25 to 200 shirts and doesn't take up too much space. I dont want to spend alot of money on it right now, I basically want to learn the trade and see if it is something I would like to do, but I dont want a piece of junk that will make me want to throw it out the door into the dumpster.

Thanks for any suggestions
Adam

Hey Adam,

If you're looking for something simple, yet solid, I'd check out the 4 color table top unit from Riley Hopkins. Seems like a sweet price for a press from a reputable company. Same price as all the cheap junk on ebay.

Here's a link:

Yes I have for the last few days looked for a package like you are as well...

If someone can please give links to the products, because sometimes there is discussion, but not direct links.

I am looking for the samething...

Something with atleast 2 color.
Something that you can "burn" your artwork with the light table on a screen.
Something that I can dry the shirts.

Basically what totalstitch with a little more detail to make sure he hit all the points

totalstitch I think we are in the same boat.... looking for the samething

The discussions usually have some direct links listed within them. The "screen printing equipment" tag has some good info here:

try a printa. i looked at one at an ISS show last year. Every thing is in one unit, unless you add a conveyor dryer. I thought it had some limitations for expansion, but as an addition to your business, it might be good
