I would say a properly tensioned 110-156 should work fine.

Should be fine. May need to print flash print to get a good deposit of the liquid silver.

i have some union silver foil. is that what that is? i had good results using a white base from a 160 then the silver on a 110. the white got the print up to a level surface it seemed, smoothed out the knit. flashing alone diddn't seem to work as well. another thing i noticed is that it needs to be the last color if it is a multi-colored print, having another screen touch it with only a flash cure dulled it slightly. if you use a low enough mesh, i'd bet it will reflect like a mirror!

Thanks all for your advice. I was only asking as I also bought some glitter ink and ryed running this through a 70T mesh but it wouldnt go though. It was depositing a glue like residue on the shirt but no glitter was getting through.

Anyway thanks once again for all you help ill post some pics when done.

i've never used glitter, but i think it's supposed to go through like a 20-40 (us) mesh, i don't know what the metric equivalent is

Thanks mac

I dont think its foil that I have its just glitter plastisol. Im i right in believing that foil is heat pressed onto the ink after its printed?

there is a chrome foil that's pressed on after you print an adhesive. the union product is called silver foil, it confused me at first, too!. the stuff in the picture looks like the foil ink, not a glitter. glitter will have big sparkles in it.

Its called something diffeent by each ink manufacturer. Wilflex calls it liquid silver and they have a liquid gold.

You can also get
metallic silver & gold
Metallic Shimmer silver & gold
and glitter is a totally different specialty ink
