Default Have you heard of this press?

A buddy of mine has a press he is selling and I was thinking about getting it from him but I am not familiar with the Brand or who makes it.

It is an Aaron 8 / 8 press. Anyone know how to contact them. I can't find any info on them just by doing a google search. I want to make sure that I would still be able to get parts if needed. Does anyone have any info if Aaron makes a decent product? Thanks.

I have not heard of it and if it is not found with a google search, I would be very leery of buying a product without a source of support...regardless of the price. There are several presses that are from known manufactures that are 1k or under...some decent ones to get started..such as a swingman are about half that.

You know buying a press from a friend is not that bad. At least you know who it came from.. He I am sure can show you how to operate it. Then if you get business and it works for you then save up and buy a new one. Works for me.. Lou

I agree with Lou, provided the price is right.

Agree as well. Just check out the press and make sure it works and if the price is right why not?

Thanks for your advice everyone. After a little more seaching it looks like the press may have been somehow linked to Workhorse. Even though the press is in perfect working condition and looks to be well built, it worries me that if something does go wrong it does not look like I would be able to get parts for it. I'll just have to way out pro's and con's and come up with a excellent price. Thanks.
