Photoshop Elements is severely crippled when it comes to making separations.Even using its parent Photoshop, making separations from a full color bitmap and reducing it to 4, 6, or 8 colors is perhaps the hardest skill in the t-shirt industry.

Elements is a cutdown piece of software Adobe gave away for free to try and get people to buy the real thing. CorelDraw X3 is a fully developed product used by many professionals. It's no contest.

Agree 100% with both Richard and Lewis. If your wanting a good program that will not break your bank, get CorelDRAW. The suite comes with DRAW a vector based program and PhotoPaint a raster based program. Both should work well for your needs
