he y'all
im starting to screen print for my small business the old fashioned way - with a single colour Jig.
any tips on where to get a good quality, sized jig?
found one on ebay for AU$100 that is 430mm by 300mm. Too small for medium/large shirts you think? or good way to go?
appreciate any help!
cheers,

Its tough to say as I did not see any size specs. Youll be limited to printing only one colors but it looks like it would do the trick.
Try checking out the different manufacturers on this link http://screenprinters.net/links.php and see what they offer if any comparable to the price of this one.
If you want a really cheap jig, check out speedball, they have a two hinge piece ow wood that you can use. Or you can do what I did, I bought two hinges at the store, cut a oiece of plywood, and cut a piece of wood to the same thinckness as my screens. Make sure you purchase removable pin hinges.
on page 1. shows the basic ideal of how to make it if you are good with your hands. It is under Step B.It is a crude set up, but you can make it for around $30.00, your frames will be the higher expense.
