Default Confessions of a Newbie Screen Printer

So, after coating three screens with emulsion, with my handy-dandy screen coater, I was informed('How To Print T-Shirts For Fun And Profit') that the protective rubber strip should be removed before use. Doh!

I was getting annoyed with screen coater 'skipping' while I pulled it along the screen. Problem solved!

Anyone else want to share their screen printing follies?

After 13 years of screen making you would think i would know how to expose a screen. Rush job, screens all made. Seting up on the press. Just when ready to start printing i realize the screen are backwards.

I did the backwards screen thing a couple times. Today I burned screens for a 2color left-chest print, burning one part to the right of the screen like it should be, but the other one i put on the left side. whoops.

When I started I knew almost nothing. The first time I used my roommate's table to do a run of shirts I was using clamps to keep the shirts from moving. Then a couple weeks later I learned that there was something called spray mount that could be used to keep the shirts from moving, amazing.
I've learned a lot since then. These days I mostly know what I'm doing.
