Nazdar cleaning?!?!!

Default Nazdar cleaning?!?!!

so i just made my first shirt and the print on the shirt it nice but i had a little trouble cleaning the screen. im using a nazdar ink and i hav no clue on how to clean it from the screen i got the excess ink off which was on the emulsion part but inside the stencil i cant seem to clean. i was wondering if someone could help me cause i dont wanna get my screens messed up after so much trouble of getting the emulsion on already. someone plz help.

If you plan to keep the stencil and screen to re-use, than buy screen wash at a screen printing supply shop, or some people use mineral spirits which can be found at most hardware stores such as Home Depot. Rub the image with shop towels, or clean cloth and continue until ink is gone from the mesh.

:EDIT: sorry that was for plastisol ink, nazdar is waterbased ink i believe it can be washed with water.

I don't know what type of ink Nazdar is, but if it is waterbased then soapy water will do the trick.

However by the time you read this message, if you haven't already done that your screen will most likely be ruined. If you've already tried washing it with water though, what you're seeing might be staining rather than major problem causing blockages. Hold it to the light and you should be able to tell more easily.
