 Water Based Inks....Which brand to use?
First off I would like to say that this is my first post and I think this forum is great. I have already learned so much from the advice you give.
Now it’s my turn to pick your brains a bit. I am interested in printing t-shirts with water based inks and I have been reading everything on Aerotex inks, Versatex inks and about 10 others. The problem is that they all sound the same to me so what I would like to know is which inks do you use and why?
Are there any inks that you would not recommend?
Have you had problems with one brand of ink drying quicker than others?
I am looking to find an ink opaque enough when mixed with an opaque white to cover medium colored shirts. I am not a complete stranger to wb inks as I used to be a screen printer at a large skateboard company printing boards, but those were boards and now I want to print some shirts. Any advice is appreciated and I thank you in advance.
