Default advice on printing detailed art work

Hi Guys

Im looking to print drawn comic like art.
What will be the best mesh to use to get the detail.

Also when they talk about a opaque water based printing base. Can I add pigment to the base and print directly onto the t-shirt? or do I have to print a white base and then the color ink on top?

Im planing to do a white plastisol base. and the fine detailed lines of the drawing with black ontop of the white base. I think this will give the print a textured feel between the white and black.

Let me know what you think and if this will work

Any info will be usefull.
Thanks

It depends how detailed it is. If it's a large print, a 43T/110 mesh count could be totally fine. If you're using a lot of crosshatching or halftones you might want something much higher, like 90T/230.

If you upload a small section of your artwork that would give an idea of the detail, and an approximate print size, someone who knows more about mesh counts than I do might be able to give you a good/accurate recommendation.

Yes. You might want to do some test prints to see if that achieves the result you want or not though.
