Default Re: Curing Process

Are you printing with plastisol or water-based inks? A flash cure unit can cure both. I don't do plastisol, but from what I've gathered, getting it up to 320 degrees for about a minute makes it full cured. Water-based needs to get up to 320 but just for a couple seconds. After my flash cure unit heats up for 10 minutes I can get a water-based print up to 320 in about 30 seconds and after 20 minutes of having it on it can get down to 20 seconds per print.
Keep your flash cure unit 3 or 4 inches above your shirt and get a thermometer gun to keep tracking of the temperatures.
Hope this helps.
