Hello everyone. I am designing a line of clothing to be screen printed (most likely) on Continental, American, and Alternative blanks. This is my first time doing this and I have a few questions.

First, what is the maximum resolution when printing on your average 100% cotton tee? Could an image like this: Clinton Clark Scrapbook<br>Part 1 be printed correctly, or is there too much fine detail? This is assuming the image is properly cleaned up, of course. If it looks good at 300dpi on my higher-end inkjet, will it look good silkscreened as well? Or is silkscreening even less tolerant of imperfections? Also does ink choice matter...in terms of water based vs plastisol...?

I'm a graphic designer so I do understand the mechanics of resolution, basically. I'm jsut looking for info specific to screen printing. Also if you can suggest a good online resource for designing for graphic prints that would be excellent.

If the image is of quality 300 dpi at print size and your happy with the overall quality of the imae it should print just fine. Only issues would be wether the printer can handle that type of art/print.

Thanks for your reply. I was hoping that was the case. I assume most printers can tell you if they are able to handle a given image?
