100% polyester
Good Morning Everyone......
I am getting ready to print soccer jerseys and was wondering if there were any special tips or tricks someone might want to share. Can I use a heat press to cure it? At what temperature do you cure and for how long?

Re: 100% polyester You need to watch out for Dye Migration. Poly is notorious for major dye migrating into the ink and changing the color. There are special inks that are designed to help prevent this yet you can use regular plasticol. As far as using a heat press to cure. I have no clue. Seems like it would be real messy and possibly no consistent enough to cure the plasticol inks.
Im sure someone who has cured shirts this way will chime in.

Re: 100% polyester The ink needs to reach 320 degrees for a couple of seconds to properly cure. Using a heat press I dont know. A flash unit will take probably about 20-30 seconds depending on how hot and the distance it is from the garment

Re: 100% polyester congrats and thanks for the update. Can you let everyone know your dwell time and flash distance in case they need to cure the same way?
