Screen Printing Hockey Jerseys?
Has anyone done this successfully?
Do you have to print with a special ink?
What sort of jerseys are best? I know some are mesh with pretty large holes that don't get printed on...

Re: Screen Printing Hockey Jerseys? Most brands offer inks that work well with Jerseys. Contact your ink supplier and see what they offer. usually higher opacity with better enlongating properties to help hold the ink around the holes. Printing on mesh materials is somehwat of a pain as dependin on the size of the hole/mesh the ink may not stick and fall out causing small detail in a design to look like a bad print.

Re: Screen Printing Hockey Jerseys? Actually back in 96 we did print a bunch of high school hockey jerseys, i remember we did use a plastisol but i think it was just plain ole base opaque white. We also had to put tape over the platten and flash dry the shirt before taking it off so the holes wouldnt get on the next shirt.
Hope that helps.

Re: Screen Printing Hockey Jerseys? we use printer paper and spray tack before loading the shirt. after the print we trash the paper and replace with a clean sheet.
