printing white ink
Hi! Question - I am trying to print white ink on a purple shirt and am having a very difficult time with it. I am using a low bleed union ink and a 100% cotton shirt and was using a heat gun to flash with - but just got my flash unit in last night and will be trying that today to see if it makes a difference. I put the first layer down and flash then the second layer - well there seems to be numerous issues...it is flaky, sometimes it sticks to the screen...i'm just having problems..any suggestion would be greatly appreciated.

Re: printing white ink Use a 100 mesh if you can.
Check your off contact. When you pull the squeegee you want the screen to pop opff the shirt/platen about 1-2 inches behing the blade.
Good even pressure with a slight angle to where your using the edge of the blade

Re: printing white ink Don't flash it for too long. I flash for about 10-12 seconds. It should just be dry to the touch, not fully cured.
What do you mean when you say, "it's flaky"?
