Default Scouting For Local Water-Based Screenprinters

As some may know, I visited TS Designs this past Monday with my business partner about their water-based and REHANCE printing options.

I'd like to find some other local water-based screenprinters for service comparison and pricing but cannot seem to find any. When I Google phrases to search this, I'm getting TSD in the results. I'm in North Carolina.

Any other resources I can use? I'm willing to contact others outside of NC but want to meet with locals first, if possible.

Thanks!

If you don't get any recommendations, definitely try the phone book. Lots of screenprinters don't have websites yet.

The printers that do this in your area may not have webpages (unfortunately), so it may take a few phone calls to the printers listed in your local Yellowpages.

You can also try the searches WITHOUT the "rehance" technology, which I think is just their proprietary technology.

Also try Google Local for finding local businesses: Google Maps (I would suggest just searching for screen printing and then contacting the companies you find to ask if they can do water based ink screen printing)

Yes, I can see this being the case about the locals. Will check the YP.

If for some reason I can't find any more locals, do you have recommendations on those out of state?

I found one other water-based printer on the web (in another state) but did not bookmark their site and wished I had. GRRR!

Please keep us updated on your search - I'm searching too! Since I'm in a small town in Michigan, I'm prepared to search out of state.
Thanks!

We tend to stay away from printer recommendation posts since many of our members are printers. It helps us avoid self promotional posts

But you can post your request in the classifieds area and you'll probably get some responses or recommendations. I know there are a few in the Los Angeles area.

No problem Rodney.

Allow me to ask, is the "discharge" screenprinting process the exact same as the water-based ink screenprinting process?

I saw this word appear on more Google searches.

It's not the same thing. See this thread for a good explanation:

Discharge Tee Printing?
