Default What ink for screenprinting plastic

I'm amazed at so many things people print with screens on the thread on 'What do you screenprint besides t-shirts?'. I'm interested in printing plastic as I lost business one time when a bank wanted someone who could print plastic money bags. I just couldnt think how possible could that be.

Are there special screens, inks and procedures to print on plastic material? What to be cautious of... am interested to know. Please anyone give indight please.

I would say that depends on the type of plastic. Some solvent-based inks are going to attack plastic, especially if it's thin. I'm no expert though - best thing to do I'd say is get some samples of the things you want to print on and try them.

Vinyl would have worked also. Quicker and easier and no screens.

Thank you
Nylobond is bonding agent that is added to plastisol ink so you can print on nylon fabric. Plastisol with nylobond still needs to be cured.
