Re: I need plans for a squeegee sharpener I have a flat sturdy board about the length of a large squeegee.
Here is what I did, laid out sandpaper to cover a strip about 3" x the length of the board..laid out in the center. I then screwed 2 pieces of wood an inch thick like a railroad track that keeps the squeegee in between the rails as it glides over the sandpaper, when I replace the sndpaper I just unscrew the wood off the plank and replace the strip of paper.
Hope that makes sense as I am very bad at explaining things w/o the use of my hands.
I thing I used a fairly course sandpaper..not so course that it eats the rubber..maybe 220 grit.
That may not deal with the nicks though.
